Aims

GDHF Food for Life Program:

GDHF believes that providing free meals to needy people is of utmost importance. GDHF plans to transport cooked food to thousands places to distribute free meals to schools, working places, senior citizen centres etc. In this, we are getting help from organizations like ISKCON.

GDHF Housing Program:

Each complex of the GDHF will accommodate about 10,000 persons. The housing facility will be given free or at negligible affordable charges. Elderly persons having mental and/or physical illnesses will be given housing, meal, medical and education completely FREE.

GDHF Education Program:

GDHF focuses on providing FREE education including meals, clothes and books to all children. Education will be compulsory for all children living in any GDHF complex. Outside children will also be admitted into these schools at no cost.

GDHF Medical Program:

GDHF will provide complete medical facilities for all people. This will also include prescriptions and hospitalization for people who can not afford to pay.

Senior Citizen Program:

The aim of GDHF is to take care of senior citizens at no cost to the seniors. GDHF will admit men above 60 years of age and women older than 55 years. In some cases, even this age criteria will be waived.

Better Life / Entertainment program:

For fruitful utilization of time, GDHFs will provide radios, TV sets, newspapers, library facilities, indoor games, entertainment programmes, meditation hall, religious concerts or Satsangas. Each GDHF complex will host a Church / Mosque / Temple for people to be able to pray to God according to their individual religious beliefs.

Street Children / Child Labour:

Millions of children in India are found begging on streets or are working to supplement – to supplement their family’s income and to sustain themselves or simply because they have no access to schools - compromising on their present and forging themselves an uncertain future. Many of these children continue to be employed in hazardous industries, restaurants, hotels, ‘dhabas’ and as domestic help, even though child labour is officially banned in India.
GDHF will make all possible efforts to remove child labourers and beggars from the streets and industries with the help of the central and state Governments.

GDHF Loans & Grants Program:
GDHF will provide loans and grants to those who are under high-interest debt. These kinds of cumbersome loans should be removed by way of providing lower-interest loans and grants. GDHF is also considering providing seeds, fertilizers, equipment, insurance and other essential requirements to poor and needy farmers so that they do not feel compelled to go in for high-interest loans.

GDHF Employment Program:
GDHF will establish thousands of complexes outside metro cities. As mentioned above, these complexes will have complete facilities that human beings require. To build these complexes, millions of people will be employed.

Besides the above employment opportunities, GDHF is planning to produce bio-energy all over the country to provide employment as well to earn profit that can be reinvested into our existing projects.

GDHF will also provide loans and grants to budding entrepreneurs to start their own small and medium size businesses.

GDHF will provide scholarships to bright students, researchers and inventors. GDHF will also help them to establish laboratory units where they can work and create world-class products that can potentially bring large foreign exchange into the country.
