Flood Relief at Kurnool, India:
GPHF Organised a massive relief distribution mission in several parts of Southern India which was devastated by the floods that occured in the first week of October 2009.
Regarding this Mr Govindji, Chairman GPHF, received an Appreciation letter from Kurnool Muncipal Corporation,Governemnt of Andhra Pradesh,Dated 17th November,2009.
Also, from the District Education Officer of Kurnool, Governemnt of Andhra Pradesh, He received an requestion letter to takeup rehabilitation of affected schools...More Details
GPHF Chairman visits Harappanahalli on 26th October,2009
Mr Govindji, Chairman GPHF visited affected areas of Harappanahalli taluk. He drove up from Bangalore to Harappanahalli,about 270kms & spent a many hours with the families of those affected by the floods. He visited the huts, took a close first hand look at the damages caused by the heavy rains & floods & he addressed the affected villages.
Also present at the meeting were leaders of the region, Government officials, media & well-wishers. More Details

Flood relief distribution at Harappanahalli,Karnataka
GPHF Team offered emergency flood relief in Harish Chandra Nagar, Harappanahalli Taluk,Karnataka,India in the wake of the unprecedented floods that affected in first week of October,2009 The Chairman of GPHF, Mr Govindji,was personally present on this occasion and distributing the relief to the affected.

Mr Govindji,Chairman GPHF, appealed to the Government representatives to support the rehabilitation project:
Mr Govindji,Chairman GPHF,announced a complete sponsorship & turnkey project to relocate, build new dwellings units for all the 540 families affected by the floods at Harish Chandra Nagar.
The entire project involving rebuilding of 540 houses is expected to cost USD 3 million. Secure watersupply, toilets,neat roads are all part of the plan.

Mr Govindji,Chairman GPHF called on Mr V.H.Kageri,Minister of Primary Education,State of Karnataka,India to discuss the State Government's recovery plan to restore schools devasted,  destroyed by the october first week floods that affected several parts of South India.
Mr Govindji, offered the help of the GPHF in taking up reconstruction, restoration of the schools damaged by the floods & make the schools operational within minimum period of time...
